Dear Karate-Kas,
You are invited to attend the 14th Annual Atlanta Camp and Regional Tournament
hosted by the JKA Shotokan Karate Club of Atlanta and Emory University Karate Club.
The objectives of this camp are to enhance your study of Japanese Shotokan Karate, train
with other karate-kas from other clubs and to compete in the Regional Tournament.
Training will be held on Friday, November 4 through early morning Sunday, November 6
and the Regional Tournament will be on Sunday, November 6 starting at 10 am. All
training and the tournament will be held at the Oxford College of Emory University
gym in Oxford, Georgia.
SAKA group rate room accommodations can be made at the Hampton Inn Covington
located at 16020 Lochridge Boulevard, Covington, Georgia 30014. The phone number of
the hotel is (678-212-2500). Note that this is a different hotel from past years. Group
rate for a room for up to 4 people is $80 per night plus applicable taxes. A hot breakfast
is included in this rate. Please identify yourself with SAKA so you may obtain the
discounted rate. There are a limited to number of rooms reserved so please make your
room reservations by October 21, 2011 to guarantee this rate. Information about the hotel
